The Navizon SDK is a client-side library that provides positioning data in mobile phones and laptops. The SDK collects surrounding GPS, Wi-Fi access point and cell tower signals. It then returns the actual geographic location, latitude and longitude, as well as precision and positioning method: GPS, Wi-Fi or Cell.

The SDK allows developers to create location-aware applications that work seamlessly indoors, as well as in open spaces and metropolitan areas where GPS often falls short. Developers can request Wi-Fi positioning, cell positioning, or combine both for optimal coverage and accuracy.

The SDK is available for all major mobile platforms including Android, BlackBerry and Windows Mobile, and for laptops including Windows XP, Vista and 7.

Navimote Pro

Obtain a mobile's current location programmatically.

Navimote is a mobile device app that allows remote clients to obtain the mobile's current location programmatically.

Using Navimote Pro is easy. Simply install Navimote on a mobile device, enter an authorization code and you're done! The mobile device location can be obtained on demand by programmatically calling a URL.

Navimote lets clients query the device location just when necessary, saving precious battery time.

Web Services API

Access Navizon's cell id and Wi-Fi databases programmatically.

The web services API provides programmatic access to Navizon's global database of cell phone tower and Wi-Fi access point locations. This service benefits developers who already have either a cell id or Wi-Fi access point location, and need the other one to estimate accurate geographic positioning.

Navizon's web services API allows an application to submit via HTTP a cell id and/or Wi-Fi access point identifier and signal strength to obtain its geographic location, latitude and longitude, plus a confidence radius.
